In addition to my landscape paintings, I have been creating charcoal portraits on commission for 20 years. Subjects have included beloved homes, children, animals, relatives who have passed and even human anatomy. My pieces capture the essence of a subject, using fine detail, but conveying it in a more whimsical manner than a photograph ever could.
